Universe allows you to create realistic looking images of deep space. You can use these as backgrounds for 3D programs or as "space art". You select a star field pattern and can then add globular clusters, nebula, and stars using a drag and drop interface. A special transparent paste option allows you to build a library of effects. The shareware version is fully functional with the effects mentioned above. Files are saved as 24 BIT BMP's or JPEG's, which should be converted to another format, appropriate to your purposes.

NOTE: This is an evaluation copy of Universe. The vortex, lens flare, galaxy, and planet tools are disabled. You are free to evaluate this shareware version of Universe.

To install: after downloading and unZIPing UNIV162.ZIP, run UNISETUP.EXE and follow onscreen instructions.
